I can't believe that we are almost at the end of the alphabet! I'm working on a free printable with all the verses on them from A-Z!  Hopefully, I'll have it ready for you next week to as we close this round of Blogging Through The Alphabet With God's Word.  Thanks for sticking around!  I could not be more proud of my Sunday School class - they rock!

N is for...Matthew 6:24  - No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.

For this verse - I do shorten so it is easier for the children to remember.  We just say - "No one can sever two masters!"

L is for...Matthew 22:37  - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Again with this verse, we say it starting with "Love..." and then I ask - Who said that?  And the children answer in their loudest voices - Jesus!!

If you really want to see preschoolers giggle, try saying this verse with your tongue sticking out.  I eat up their little giggles!

Another year has come and gone and maybe there are things you wish to change about the upcoming year but this verse is a great reminder that even when everything around us is constantly changing - Jesus never does!

I is for...John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

This week is a little bit different. It doesn't actually start with the Letter I but when we say it we start with "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Then I'll say, "Who says that?" and the children will answer, "Jesus"!
