Weekly Wrap-Up - Week #31

Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers

Since all three kids are pretty advanced in Math, we skipped our Abeka Math this week to concentrate more on a few struggling areas.  We continued with phonemic awareness activities, reading, reading, and more reading.

Our Bible memory verse this week was from
1 Thessalonians 4:16-28........

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words."  And of course we ended that with a Hallelujah!

We also finally got our garden tilled and planted this week!

One of our veteran homeschool mother's was cleaning out her goodies this week so we stopped by to see what we could find and ended up with all these goodies which we put to work right away =)

Quizmo is an addition/subtraction game like bingo.
This is Brain Quest which we also already love!

That's a wrap on our week.  For more weekly wrap-ups check out Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers.

  1. Fun week! I love getting new (used) things from other homeschool families. It just perks up your week to try something new.

  3. Bainquest ROCKS! When I taught Talented and Gifted students, I used playing this game as an incentive for good behavior- so fun!
